2.1. HINO DPF DELETE
The filters on exhaust get clogged up pretty fast, and even faster if You are idling a lot, or running the engine in cold weather.
As You know the regens are boring, they take long time, they burn extra fuel – and most importantly put unnecessary stress on Your turbo.
These systems are far from perfect, and they require extensive maintenance – and pretty much Your vehicle ends up spending more time in the shop then on the road!
2.2. HINO EGR DELETE
The Hino Engines have suffered from EGR related issues from the moment of introducing these systems. The EGR valve is designed to recirculates exhaust back into intake for another run of combustion. This causes excessive soot build up in intake manifold, VNT turbo vanes get sticky and they don’t move freely as they do when they are clean. All that limits Your air flow – and affects Your performances. With Hino EGR delete tuning loaded into Your ECM, You will be able to block off EGR manifold to prevent any gases going into EGR tubing. All EGR sensors will be deleted as well.
2.3. HINO SCR DEF DELETE
DEF & SCR are one of major contributors for down time on Hino Engines. With Hino SCR DEF delete, the DEF dosing will be disabled, and SCR filter will be bypassed. The entire one box can be removed, or You can just hollow out filter material.
2.4. BENEFITS DELETE TUNING ON HINO DIESEL ENGINE
No more issues with any of emission related components. DPF SCR DOC get bypassed, EGR gets blocked off, and DEF pump stops dosing.
Engine will be burning clean air all the time due to EGR delete, the turbo will no longer be under stress due to constant regens, and even Your oil will last longer (since it won’t have any additional soot).
You will be able to feel more power, and fuel economy will improve (no more regens, cold air).
2.5. REQUIREMENTS FOR ONLINE TUNNING
- Windows Laptop
- Good and stable internet connection
- Software Diagnostic program installed and working for reading codes
- Diagnostic Adapter. Recommended diagnostic Adapter is Nexiq USB Link and some other RP1210 Adapters.

- No Derates or fault codes related to DPF/EGR/DEF/SCR
2.7. WORKING REQUIRED AFFTER THE TUNING
- Drill filter
- Block off EGR on both sides
- Unplug EGR sensors
- Unplug DPF SCR sensors
- Unplug DEF Pump
