Figure 1.1 – Lockout (DDDL warning)
The lockout tab in the calibration window allows you to protect certain functions in the ECM so that they can only be changed if you have the function lockout password as well as the calibration password.
If the ECM supports function lockout, the lockout tab will show the current lockout settings when the calibration is retrieved from the ECM.
1). Connect DETROIT engine (60 series) using Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL v6.50). Read more: how to connecting DETROIT engines using Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL).

5). To change the functions locked out in the ECM:
type the lockout password into the group lockout password box. This enables the checkboxes in the tab.
check any functions that you want locked out (prevented from being changed), and uncheck any that you want to be able to change.
enter the calibration password in the password box (4 numbers).
press transmit to send the new lockout settings to the ECM.

7). The group lockout password unlocks all of the functions, so once you have entered it, you can change any of the calibration settings in the other tabs, whether they are locked out or not.
